Sea Isle will cut back on the number of guarded beaches in September as the summer vacation season winds down.

The Sea Isle City Beach Patrol will have a limited number of lifeguards on duty following Labor Day weekend. Lifeguards will not be on duty mid-week after September 8. 

Shown below is a list of beaches that will have lifeguards on duty following Labor Day: 

·        Tuesday, September 3 through Friday, September 6: 45th and 86th Street lifeguard stands will be operational. These two stands will serve as north and south end response teams for any necessary rescues.

·        Saturday, September 7 and Sunday, September 8: 40th, 51st, 59th, 75th, and 86th Street lifeguard stands will be operational.

·        Saturday, September 14 and Sunday, September 15: 40th, 59th, and 86th Street lifeguard stands will be operational.

·        Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22: 40th and 86th Street lifeguard stands will be operational.

·        Saturday, September 28: A winterizing crew/response team will be working at Beach Patrol Headquarters.
