With drenching rains continuing this week, the National Weather Service has extended the Coastal Flood Advisory for Sea Isle City and other nearby shore communities to 7 a.m. Thursday.
Minor flooding is expected starting 3 a.m. Thursday and could lead to some partial or full road closures.
“If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property,” according to a weather alert issued by the Sea Isle Police Department.
