The Sea Isle City Chamber of Commerce and Revitalization is looking for volunteers to assist with the Polar Bear Plunge set-up and event.
Assistance is needed for the following: T-shirt sorting at La Costa Lounge on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and registration Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Sea Isle’s annual Polar Bear plunge in the chilly ocean traditionally attracts thousands of bathers and is the centerpiece event of a three-day Presidents Day holiday weekend of partying, dining and shopping Friday through Sunday. The plunge is scheduled to get underway at 2 p.m. Saturday on the beach between 38th and 40th streets.
