Mayor Leonard Desiderio invites children up to age 17 to participate in Sea Isle City’s Beach Tag Art Contest, which is now underway.

During the contest, four unique designs will be chosen for Sea Isle’s 2024 beach tags (Seasonal, Winter Holiday, St. Patrick’s Day, and Veterans tags).

Each child who participates must choose one of these four categories and may submit only one piece of artwork based on that category, according to the contest rules.

All artwork must be submitted on an official contest template and accompanied by a contest entry form and a signed parental waiver, which can be found on the “Departments/Beach Tag” page at www.seaislecitynj.us.

Paper copies of the template and entry forms are available in the lobby of City Hall (233 JFK Boulevard), at the Sea Isle City Welcome Center (300 JFK Boulevard), and in the lobby of the Sea Isle City branch of the Cape May County Library (4800 Central Avenue).

All submissions must contain original artwork. No trademarked images are permitted. Submissions can contain no more than four colors.

There is no fee to participate; and there is no monetary compensation for participants or winners.

All entries must be received by Friday, September 1, 2023. The winning artwork will be chosen by panels of volunteer judges, who will not know the names or ages of the artists during the judging process.

Winners will be announced during the September 26 City Council meeting.
