A National Weather Service graphic shows the wind gusts and amount of rain expected during the storm.

Sea Isle City and the surrounding area will once again experience a serious storm that will bring very strong winds, tidal flooding and rain, according to the Office of Emergency Management.

Starting Friday night, southeast winds will significantly increase to 30 mph to 40 mph, with gusts possibly reaching 55 mph.

Minor tidal flooding is expected with Friday night’s high tide, which will occur around 9 p.m.

As was the case with the most recent storm, Sea Isle could encounter higher flood levels if heavy rain falls during or near the time of high tide.

For that reason, if you park in a low-lying area, it would be wise to move your vehicle to higher ground, such as the Sea Isle Library parking lot at 4800 Central Avenue.

Approximately 1 inch of rain is forecast to fall. However, this could change depending on the path of the low-pressure system.
