The folks at La Fontana Coast, 5000 Landis Ave. in Sea Isle City, are cooking up a town supper to support the Strathmere Volunteer Fire Company and Avalon Fire Company.
The Strathmere Fire Company wants to improve preparations at the fire house for the next emergency in town. A new generator will be installed, and new radios and other emergency gear are on order.
Improvements to the kitchen and community space are also in the plans to make the fire house an even better place for groups to gather, according to a press release.
La Fontana owner Bujar Daku and his staff will host two seatings at 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, and also on Wednesday, May 22, at 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
A special menu, with a generous selection of Italian classics, will cost $50, including gratuity. It is BYOB.
All proceeds go to the Strathmere and Avalon fire companies. It is a total donation from La Fontana.
