Mayor Leonard Desiderio and Sea Isle City’s administration are inviting local business owners to a meeting on Monday to discuss the coronavirus threat.

The meeting will take place at 3 p.m. in City Council Chambers, located on the third floor of City Hall, 233 JFK Boulevard. City officials will be on hand to share information and answer questions.

“They want to meet with business owners to discuss the situation and answer questions,” city spokeswoman Katherine Custer said. “They want to ensure that the lines of communication remain open between the city and the business community, as always.”

In a related development, the city announced that the Sea Isle Community Lodge at 300 JFK Boulevard and the Recreation Building (the former public school) at 4501 Park Road are temporarily closed to the public effectively immediately due to the coronavirus. All events and programs held at those locations are canceled until further notice.
