There is plenty to do in Sea Isle City for those who love Christmas and the holiday spirit that goes along with it.

From hysterical Ugly Sweater contests to holiday wine samplings to brunch with Santa, there is more than enough to still do before the family-friendly town rings in the New Year with — What else? — fireworks.

Here are some of the events that are sure to delight.

Brunch With Santa: This Sunday from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., children ages 10 and under and their families can enjoy a brunch with Santa at VFW Post 1963 located at 301 41st Street.

Ugly Sweater Contest: Upload a photo of you wearing your favorite “ugly” holiday sweater to the Sea Isle City Recreation Facebook page or email it to sicrec@seaislecitynj.us through Dec. 17 for the chance to win a Sea Isle-themed prize. 609-263-0050. READ MORE

Santa’s Holiday Drive-By Parade: On Saturday, Dec. 18, Santa Claus will spread holiday cheer throughout town with the assistance of the Volunteer Fire Department.

Escorted by Mayor Leonard Desiderio, Santa will cruise by homes that have registered for the “Holiday Drive-By Parade” starting at 10 a.m.

Families who would like Santa to pass by their home can add their address to the parade route by calling the Sea Isle Recreation Office at 609-263-0050, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The deadline to add an address to the parade route is 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17.

Fireworks: The holiday celebrations will culminate with fireworks on New Year’s Eve at 8 p.m. on the JFK Boulevard beach. For more information, call 609-263-8687.
