As the summer season unfolds, more and more of Sea Isle City’s beaches will have lifeguards on duty.
To learn the locations and times of guarded beaches this summer, go to www.SICBP.com and click the “Beach Info” link on the home page, then click “Street Location of Lifeguard Stands” – or call Beach Patrol Headquarters at 609-263-3655.
Lifeguards will be on duty on select beaches from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday and from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday (unless otherwise indicated).
Beachgoers are reminded to never enter the water unless a lifeguard is present.
Beach Warning Flag Colors:
Green = Low Hazard (calm conditions, exercise caution)
Yellow = Medium Hazard (moderate surf and/or currents)
Red = High Hazard or Water Closed To Public (high surf and/or strong currents)
Purple = Dangerous Marine Life
Look for the colored flags attached to the lifeguard stands on guarded beaches.
