Sea Isle City’s Office of Emergency Management issued the following weather statement:
Our entire region is bracing for two coastal lows that will bring us heavy rain, some gusty wind, and possibly street flooding this weekend.
Rain starting this afternoon will continue into the early morning hours on Saturday. Flooding may be an issue when the incoming high tides do not allow the rainwater to drain properly.
High tides this weekend take place in the late afternoons and early mornings.
Another round of heavy rain will arrive early on Sunday and will continue through the day, causing similar concerns.
It is advised to move vehicles parked in low-lying areas to higher ground, such as the Sea Isle City Library Parking Lot, located at 48th Street and Central Avenue.
