Business licenses and rental permits can be purchased in person at the City Clerk's Office in City Hall.

Mercantile Business Licenses and Mercantile Rental Permits for 2019 are required by May 1. 

To avoid a $50 late fee, all applications must be submitted on or before the 30-day grace period ends by May 31. 

Business Licenses and Rental Permits can be purchased in person at the City Clerk’s Office in City Hall (233 JFK Boulevard, 2nd Floor, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) or by mail after you download an application form at www.seaislecitynj.us (click the “City Clerk” link on the home page for the application link). Any property in Sea Isle City being rented out (seasonally or year-round) is required to have a Mercantile Rental Permit issued from the City – regardless if the owner is renting out the property themselves, using a local realtor or using an online vacation rental site such as VRBO, Home Away or Airbnb.
