The Sea Isle City Police Department will be participating in a statewide distracted driving crackdown known as “UText. UDrive. UPay.”
This initiative will run from April 1 to April 21. The purpose of the campaign is to increase enforcement during National Distracted Driving Month.
Police will be focusing on such things as drivers talking on a hand-held cell phone or sending text messages.
