Members of Sea Isle City’s Environmental Commission handed out their 2024 Beautification Awards to eight local property owners whose homes have recently been improved or have kept an overall attractive appearance.
At the same ceremony on Sept. 15, the Environmental Commission also distributed the annual “Endless Beauty” Award to a family that has received a Beautification Award in the past and has maintained their home’s beautiful appearance over the years.
The properties that received 2024 Beautification Awards are:
9111 Pleasure Avenue (Tony and Alice Costello)
219 90th Street (Mike and Denise McNulty)
7900 Central Avenue – East and West units (Jim and Ellen Niwinski)
7812 Pleasure Avenue – South unit (Pat and Jeanne Rogers)
5500 Central Avenue (Mark and Mary Dicciani)
5301 Landis Avenue (Donald and Susan Wall)
10 50th Street – North unit (Ray and Donna Poling)
142 45th Street “Corner Cottage” (Anthony and Tara Kutschera)
The Environmental Commission’s 2024 Endless Beauty Award went to:
27 61st Street (George and Marita Berkelbach)
Each of the owners of this year’s winning properties received a custom-designed plaque and a gift certificate to Seagrove Nursery in Ocean View.
The properties entered in this annual competition are nominated by neighbors, visitors or the property owners themselves. A panel of judges chooses the winners and presents them with prizes during an awards ceremony on the Promenade.
“This program showcases the properties that beautify our community, and we present these awards to thank the owners and show that we appreciate their efforts,” said Annette Lombardo, Environmental Commission chairperson.
