The 2023 New Jersey Run for the Fallen will pass through Sea Isle City on Thursday.
The active-duty military members who run in the annual event will enter Sea Isle via the Townsends Inlet Bridge (from Avalon) at approximately 2:55 p.m. and then travel north along Landis Avenue toward Strathmere.
While passing through the community, the runners will make six brief stops at “Hero Markers,” where they will pay tribute to New Jersey residents who died while serving in our nation’s military.
All are encouraged to cheer on the runners as they pass – and to show your support for the Gold Star Families who are often waiting at each Hero Marker.
