Due to a rainy weather forecast, the Sea Isle City Environmental Commission’s spring beach cleanup will take place one day later than planned.
Originally scheduled for Saturday, April 1, the cleanup will be held on Sunday, April 2, from 10 a.m. to noon.
Volunteers who wish to participate in the cleanup are asked to register in-person at the start of the event in front of Excursion Park, located at JFK Boulevard and the Promenade.
Environmental Commission members will assign specific beaches to clean and distribute disposable gloves, trash bags and other supplies.
Families, individuals, scout troops, civic organizations and representatives from local businesses are invited to participate in the community event.
