Members of VFW Post 1963’s Auxiliary will host their fifth annual “Dollar Dog Day” fundraiser on Saturday, July 22, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event will be held on Post 1963’s front lawn at 301 JFK Boulevard in Sea Isle City. Members of the public may purchase grilled hot dogs, soft drinks, soft pretzels and other snacks for $1 each.
Auxiliary members will also sell limited edition 2023 “Dollar Dog” T-shirts for $10 each. They will also raffle off tickets for a Philadelphia Phillies home game.
Plus, the Post 1963’s “Dollar Dog” mascot will be available for photo-ops between 11:30 a.m. and noon.
Proceeds from Dollar Dog Day will benefit the nation’s veterans and active-duty military members.
