A Sea Isle City marina that gives boaters easy access to the ocean in the southern tip of the island is up for sale.
Pier 88 Marina includes 66 boat slips, nearly 50 jet ski ports, boat rentals, fuel sales and a ship’s store for boating supplies, according to the listing on the commercial real estate site LoopNet.com.
No sale price is publicized. The listing says the marina is being offered at market bid and the seller is “entertaining all offers.”
“This is a rare opportunity to own a Sea Isle City marina with growth opportunities,” it says.
The marina’s location at 88th Street and the bay puts it just minutes away from access to the Townsends Inlet Bridge and the ocean for boaters.
Leisure Investment Properties Group LLC, a Florida-based real estate broker handling the sale, could not be reached for comment Monday.
The listing touts the possibility for a buyer to add a second-story restaurant or apartments above the store “with excellent sunset views.”
“In addition to the current configuration, the main pier is designed for a second-story restaurant and/or apartment above the ship’s store (which could double as part of the restaurant’s ground floor). This concept should be well-received in the area, given that the majority of homes in Sea Isle City are vacation rentals and second homes, attracting thousands of visitors to the area every year,” the listing says.
