A Sea Isle City attorney is taking over as chairwoman of the Atlantic Cape Community College Board of Trustees following its annual reorganization meeting at the Mays Landing campus.
During the meeting, three of the college’s Board of Trustees were elected to serve the second year of their respective terms:
- Trustee Ellen Nicholson Byrne, an attorney from Sea Isle City, was elected to serve as chairwoman. Byrne, a semi-retired attorney and current public defender in Sea Isle, has served on the board since 2014.
- Trustee Daniel L. Money, an Atlantic Cape Class of 1971 alumnus and President’s Distinguished Alumni award recipient from Rio Grande, was elected to serve as vice chairman. He has served on the board since 2018.
- Trustee Donald Parker, of Hammonton, was elected to serve as treasurer. Parker, who is President/CEO of Carrier Clinic, has served on the board since 2007.
The next meeting of the Atlantic Cape Board of Trustees will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 23 at 6 p.m. at the Cape May campus.
