The National Weather Service has issued a Coastal Flood Advisory for Sea Isle City in effect from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday.
While widespread minor coastal flooding is expected, isolated areas may experience moderate flooding around high tide at 7:49 p.m.
Minor flooding could result in some partial or full road closures, according to a weather alert issued by the Sea Isle Police Department.
“Usually, the most vulnerable roadways will flood,” the alert says. “Do not leave your vehicle at a location that is prone to tidal flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flood waters. The water may be deeper than you think it is. You will be putting yourself in danger and your vehicle may be damaged, leading to costly repairs.”
