“We Belong Cape May County” will host a three-part LGBTQ informational lecture series: “Listen, Learn and Love,” according to a news release from Cape May County.
The first in the series will be held at the Ocean City Free Public Library from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7.
LGBTQ Inclusivity Educator and Stockton University Professor Karen L. Williams will provide information in the talk, “LGBTQ and You.”
The second talk will be held on Saturday, Feb. 18 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Seaville United Methodist Church Hall. The topic will be “Local LGBTQ History.”
The final part of the series, “Religion and LGBTQ Acceptance,” will take place on Saturday, March 11 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., again at the Seaville United Methodist Church Hall.
Williams will be joined by local religious leaders in a thoughtful presentation discussing this complicated and timely issue.
Each discussion will be followed by an interactive Q&A segment. Light refreshments will be provided.
