National Weather Service map shows rainfall totals across New Jersey.
The National Weather Service has issued a Coastal Flood Advisory in effect for Sea Isle City from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday as the remnants of a nor’easter blow through New Jersey.
The advisory means that minor tidal flooding is expected, according to a weather alert from the Sea Isle Police Department.
“At this level, flooding begins on the most vulnerable roads in coastal and bayside communities, and along inland tidal waterways. Some partial or full road closures are possible,” the alert says.
The nor’easter is spinning off the coast of New Jersey and has dumped heavy rain on parts of the state, causing flooding in some areas. Additional rounds of minor tidal flooding are expected at the shore through Friday.
