The National Weather Service has issued a Coastal Flood Advisory from 8 p.m. Friday to 2 p.m. Saturday.
Widespread minor flooding is expected for Friday evening’s high tide and then again with Saturday morning’s high tide, according to a weather alert from the Sea Isle City Police department
Some partial or full road closures are possible. Police are warning residents and visitors not to leave their vehicles at locations that are prone to tidal flooding.
Motorists should not drive through flooding because the water could be deeper than it appears.
“You will be putting yourself in danger and your vehicle may be damaged, leading to costly repairs,” according to the weather alert.
