City Council would like to acknowledge the work of Boy Scout Matt Baldini, who recently completed his Eagle Scout Project. Matt designed a new brochure that lists ADA-accessible facilities and businesses in Sea Isle City, and it was unveiled on Tuesday morning at the Welcome Center. We congratulate Matt for his hard work and dedication to this community.
City Council recently held a closed session meeting to discuss a City employee labor contract, which we expect will soon be finalized. It is anticipated that during an August Council meeting, that contract will be ratified and put into effect.
During the July 26 City Council meeting, all resolutions on the Consent Agenda were approved, including…
- Resolution 152, which supports the City’s participation in the Sustainable Jersey Municipal Certification Program. Sustainable Jersey assists Garden State towns that want to go green, save money and take steps to sustain their quality of life.
- Resolution 155, which authorizes the City’s participation in a National Cooperative Purchasing Program for the acquisition of a Spartan 4x4 Pumper Fire Engine at a cost of $535,845.
The next City Council meeting will take place on Tuesday, August 9, at 10:00 a.m. in Council Chambers. We hope to see you there!
