Anyone looking for something healthy to eat or sip on should check out the Juice Pod.

The store is in its second year on the Promenade in Sea Isle City and is a hot spot for many beachgoers. From juices to salads, they have something for everyone.

Owner Danielle Leonhardt explained how she has a “passion for health foods and a healthy lifestyle.”

This drove her to the idea behind Juice Pod. She wanted to provide a place where people can come to get food and drinks that they feel good about eating.

Juice Pod is located at 11 43rd Street, right on the Promenade in Sea Isle City.

Leonhardt has three daughters who work at the store with her. Her girls, along with their friends, make up most of the staff. The staff is comprised of high school and college students and creates a young and fun environment.

“I love the kids. They are so hard-working.” Leonhardt said.

Their hard work shows in the proficiency of their service. All of their creations are made fresh and efficiently. This adds to the experience, because there is little wait time.

The Juice Pod location, just steps from the beach, makes it a very popular spot. There is plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the food in the summer weather.

The outdoor seating is a great place to enjoy the healthy eats.

Some of their products include: organic bowls, fresh juices, smoothies, cold brew coffee, salads and wraps. All ingredients are fresh and organic. They also offer gluten free and dairy free options.

A unique product they offer is La Colombe Coffee, which customers can get either hot or cold brewed.

Open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, Juice Pod is a favorite breakfast shop for many. A popular dish they make is the avocado toast. It is refreshingly good for you, like all of the foods on the menu.

Leonhardt opened the Juice Pod in Avalon three years ago before deciding to bring the shop to Sea Isle. The Sea Isle store is currently the only location. She is opening up another one in Bryn Mawr, Pa., with her sister, Christine Wyatt.
