The National Weather Service issued a Coastal Flood Advisory in effect for Sea Isle City and nearby coastal areas through 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30.

A full moon, strong onshore winds and rain will combine to cause minor flooding over the next four high tide cycles. Street flooding conditions will be similar to what has been experienced at the shore all week.

Residents should be prepared to monitor conditions and move vehicles to safe places in advance of these high tides.

For your safety and the protection of your vehicle and neighboring properties, never attempt to drive through flood waters, and do not drive around barricades, Sea Isle City’s police department said in a weather alert.

For Police and Fire Department emergencies, call 911. For non-emergencies, call 609-263-4311.
