A coastal flood advisory is in effect for Cape May County until 1 p.m. Saturday, according to a weather alert sent out by the Sea Isle City Police Department.
Up to one foot of flooding is expected in low-lying areas near the shoreline and tidal waterways. Minor roadway flooding is possible.
Heavy rain is also possible, especially overnight Friday into very early Saturday morning, which could further exacerbate tidal flooding.
