One painter, Joanne Hession Lennon, has displayed her artwork on an electrical box at JFK Boulevard in Sea Isle.

Artists of all mediums are invited to display their artwork during the Sea Isle City Historical Society’s “Here Comes Summer” Art Show on Saturday, June 22.

The show will be held from noon to 3 p.m. inside the Sea Isle City Library at 4800 Central Avenue. All artists are welcome to participate in this free community event, including painters, sculptors, jewelry makers, glass artists, potters and others. There is no fee to artists who wish to participate.

“This is not an art competition,” said Historical Society President Abby Powell. “It’s simply an opportunity for artists to display their work in a free, public setting – and it’s an opportunity for others to enjoy their artwork.”

Artists who are interested in displaying their work during the “Here Comes Summer” Art Show are asked to phone Abby Powell at 215-595-4601.
