During AARP Chapter 710’s annual Christmas Luncheon at The Tuckahoe Inn on December 8, Joe Robinson, of Sea Isle City, was declared “AARP Chapter 710 Volunteer of the Year.”
Mr. Robinson has served as Chapter 710’s Treasurer for the past five years. He is also an active member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Sea Isle City, and he’s well-admired for his kind heart and positive attitude.
“If Joe wasn’t there, we don’t know what we would do,” said AARP Chapter 710 President Frank Roach. “Joe is a great person, he really knows his stuff, and he is very respected in our community.”
Originally from Southwest Philadelphia, Mr. Robinson and his wife, Jane, raised their family in Burlington County, NJ, where he was a Municipal Tax Accessor in Edgewater Park and later owner Real Property Appraisers in Cinnaminson.
Mr. Robinson and his wife recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with their 7 children, 17 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
