Donald Trump Jr. and his girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle will be guests of honor at a fundraiser 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, at Historic Smithville Inn, 1 New York Road in Galloway Township.

Former Galloway Township Mayor Don Purdy said he had a hand in putting the fundraiser together through his friend Jim Schultz, a Pennsylvania attorney who worked in the White House.

“He worked in the West Wing and we are good friends,” Purdy said.

Schultz is a former senior associate counsel to President Donald Trump.

Purdy is hosting the event along with former New Jersey Assemblyman Vince Polistina. Radio host Harry Hurley will emcee the event.

Purdy said Guilfoyle was scheduled to be in the area and with Donald Trump Jr. recently publishing his book, “Liberal Privilege: Joe Biden and the Democrats’ Defense of the Indefensible,” efforts were made to add him to the lineup. Books will be available at the event.

Other special guests include Schultz and New Jersey Republican Party Chairman Doug Steinhardt.

Proceeds from the event will support political candidates who are for lower taxes, responsible development, job creation and common sense governance at all levels throughout the South Jersey area, according to an announcement for the fundraiser.

Tickets are $300 per person, with a private reception for those contributing $1,500 or more.

Tickets can be purchased by contacting Chris Coleman of the Citizens for Responsible Development at 609-276-4438 or email ccoleman609@gmail.com.
