The Sea Isle City Beach Patrol’s annual 10-Mile Island Run is named in honor of former Beach Patrol Captain Bill Gallagher, who led the SICBP from 1970 to 1977, during which time the 10-Mile Island Run was founded. Each year, Captain Gallagher (shown below) is given the opportunity to sound the horn that starts the race.

Online pre-registration for Teams and Clubs is available until Wednesday, July 31, at 11:59 p.m. ($22.00 per runner).  Registration for Teams and Clubs on Race Day ($37 per runner) closes on Saturday, August 3, at 4:30 p.m. The number of runners allowed per team is unlimited.  All team members must complete their own registration form.

Entry fees are non-refundable. High quality event tee-shirts will be given to the first 1200 registrants, and awards will be presented to the top male and female runners in numerous categories.
