Country music comes to the Ocean City Music Pier on Friday, Aug. 30 with a concert featuring the Swon Brothers and Josh Gracin.

The Swon Brothers burst onto the scene in 2013 by bringing country music to the finale of NBC’s “The Voice,” and they continue to tour and record great music.

Josh Gracin first hit the country music charts 15 years ago, and he’s making the best music of his career.

The country music show is a first for the Ocean City Music Pier, which has been a long-time home to the Ocean City Pops orchestra, the annual rock Summer Concert Series and countless other events.

The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30. Tickets ($25 to $30) are available at www.oceancityvacation.com/boxoffice, by calling 609-399-6111, or at the Music Pier Box Office, the City Hall Welcome Center (861 Asbury Avenue) or the Roy Gillian Welcome Center (on the Rt. 52 causeway).

The Swon Brothers Bio:

The year 2013 changed the Swon Brothers’ lives. With the help of coach Blake Shelton, they became the first duo to make it to a season finale of the hit TV show “The Voice.”

In October 2014, the Swon Brothers released their self-titled album and received a nomination for CMA Vocal Duo of the Year. In 2016, they released the EP “Timeless” and spent the year touring coast-to-coast in the United States and Canada with Carrie Underwood on the Storytellers Tour.

In 2017, the Swon Brothers went on “The About Last Night Tour” and charted the follow-up single “Don’t Call Me.” The Swon Brothers have been busy preparing new music and have just released the first single, “What Ever Happened,” from their new EP.

Josh Gracin Bio:

Fans fell in love with Michigan native and former Marine Josh Gracin upon his ascension onto the country music charts in 2004 with “I Want To Live.” The hits came in short order for Gracin.

“Nothin’ To Lose,” “Stay With Me (Brass Bed)” and “We Weren’t Crazy” all hit high on the Billboard charts. And, as it does when an artist tastes success, the road beckoned. Seattle. Green Bay. Austin. Bangor. Gracin found himself thrust into the national spotlight.

Now, with the release of his new single, “Good For You,” Gracin is back on country radio – a format that has been very good to him – alongside the digital service providers that treated him well on his last digital release, “Nothin’ Like Us.”

The release is a partnership between Reviver (David Lee Murphy, Michael Tyler, Tenille Arts) and his own Revel Road label. With the new single, Gracin is armed with the best music of his career.

It’s a song he’s been in search of for a while and he knows that once listeners hear it, they will be hooked. “Good For You” is available now digitally, and hits country radio on Nov. 5. Keep up with Josh on his website www.joshgracinofficial.com.
