Sturdy Savings Bank recently presented 25 food banks and pantries in Cape May County and Somers Point with checks to help them meet increased demand during the COVID-19 crisis.

In addition to the established food pantries in the area that the bank has always supported annually, many others have been formed during the pandemic to further assist in feeding families in need.

“Demand is great in times of crisis, and it is our hope that our donations to each of these pantries will help families in the communities we serve,” Sturdy Savings Bank President Jerry Reeves said.
