Sea Isle City and other shore towns in Cape May County are under a coastal flood advisory Thursday from 6 p.m. to midnight.
A coastal flood advisory means that minor tidal flooding is expected, which can result in some road closures. Usually, the most vulnerable roadways will flood, according to a weather alert from the Sea Isle Police Department.
“Do not drive your vehicle through flood waters. The water may be deeper than you think it is. You will be putting yourself in danger and your vehicle may be damaged, leading to costly repairs,” the weather alert says.
