The National Weather Service has issued a Coastal Flood Advisory in effect from 4 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, March 7.

Minor flooding is expected with up to one foot of inundation above ground level in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways.

North winds could gust as high as 35 mph and push water into the back bays, according to the forecast.

Residents should monitor conditions and be prepared to move vehicles from areas that typically experience tidal flooding before going to bed on Friday night.

For your safety and the protection of your vehicle and neighboring properties, never attempt to drive through flood waters, and do not drive around barricades.

For police emergencies, call 911. For non-emergencies, call the Sea Isle City Police Department at 609-263-4311.
