Beachcombing tours provide a way to enjoy the outdoors and learn about the ecosystem.

Sea Isle City’s final two beachcomber “group tours” of the summer season will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 1, at 10 a.m. on the 29th Street beach (tours start on the Promenade at 29th), and on Thursday, Sept. 3, at 10 a.m. at Townsends Inlet Waterfront Park (tours start under the park’s pavilion).

No registration is required, and the tours are free. Simply arrive prior to 10 a.m., join one of the tour groups, and learn some amazing facts about the local ecosystem.

The beachcomber guides will offer free “private family tours” through the month of September. As with all 2020 beachcomber tours, private tours are free, but donations will be accepted in support of the beachcombing mission to educate the public and spread environmental goodwill.
