Chilly temps and cloudy days may have some people stuck in the doldrums, but Sea Isle City has a lineup of summer attractions that will make up for the winter blahs.
Favorite tribute bands and some new acts will entertain visitors during performances at Excursion Park’s Band Shell at JFK Boulevard and Pleasure Avenue. Free family-friendly movies will delight with choices of popular new shows.
“Each year, we are thrilled to see large crowds in attendance during our Saturday night Concert Under the Stars. We’re very fortunate to once again have an amazing musical lineup for 2022,” Sea Isle City Public Information Officer Katherine Custer said Wednesday of the shows in store for concert goers. “We are very much looking forward to welcoming people back to the band shell for another great summer in Sea Isle City.”
Back in 2020, due to gathering restrictions during the height of the pandemic, the concert series was canceled. This past summer, the series was brought back and it was as hugely successful as it has been year after year, officials noted.
Custer said that concert goers will definitely enjoy the lineup for the 2022 summer season.
“Chris Oney, in our city’s Tourism Office, has worked closely with our concert organizer to ensure that our audiences will be very happy when this year’s summer concert season arrives,” Custer said.
The concert schedule was announced this week. The shows will be held, weather permitting, every Saturday night at Excursion Park from June 25 to Sept. 3 starting at 7:30 p.m.

July 9 — Seven Bridge
July 16 — Real Diamond
July 23 — Kick It Out
July 30 — Gypsy tribute to Fleetwood Mac
Aug. 6 — Beatlemania Again
Aug. 13 — Countdown To Ecstasy
Aug. 20 — Yellow Brick Road
Aug. 27 — Frontiers – Journey Tribute
Sept. 3 — Elvis (Jessie Garron)
Sea Isle also offers the Movie Under the Stars series at Excursion Park, a free summer lineup of movies the whole family can enjoy. All families have to do is head down to Excursion Park at dusk with beach chairs and blankets, settle in and wait for the start of the show. The events are weather permitting.
