Crepe myrtles similar to this one planted outside the library in memory of former Sea Isle resident Marlene McHale will be one type of tree given away during the raffle.

The Sea Isle City Environmental Commission is giving away 30 free trees during its annual tree raffle.

Entries are available at the Sea Isle City Welcome Center, 300 JFK Blvd., and online at www.seaislecitynj.us (on the Environmental Commission page).

Winners will have their choice of three varieties of trees: Limelight Hydrangea (lime green/cream/pink flowers), Crepe Myrtle (pink flowers, July to September), or Little Gem Magnolia (green all year; flowers spring to late fall).

Trees will be planted on Sea Isle City properties only. Winners will be chosen during a random drawing at the Green Fair on Saturday, June 4. One tree will be awarded per winning property.
