Early influences in Austin’s life came from a competitive environment shaped by athletics and teamwork. Raised in Windsor, he developed a strong interest in soccer and competed at a high level for several years, including with the Ontario FC Nationals. The discipline required in competitive sports helped shape his work ethic and approach to leadership. His formal education began at St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Secondary School, followed by studies at St. Clair College, where he earned a diploma in Business and Marketing. He founded and operated Pat’s Lawncare and Maintenance, servicing residential and commercial clients throughout the Windsor region. In 2013, he joined Austin Roofing and Waterproofing as a laborer, working directly on job sites throughout Southwestern Ontario. At that time, the company focused primarily on residential and small commercial roofing projects.
