The Sea Isle City lifeguard boat near the Promenade created an ideal winter photo-op during a snowstorm in February 2025. The same type of snowy scene is likely during this weekend.
The National Weather Service has issued a Cold Weather Advisory and Winter Storm Warning for Sea Isle City and the surrounding region.
Overnight, temperatures will drop into the teens with single-digit to below-zero wind chills through next week. Extended exposure to these temperatures can increase the risk of hypothermia and frostbite.
Snow will begin falling overnight Saturday and continue throughout Sunday. Six to eight inches of snow is expected to accumulate. Precipitation will likely mix with or change to sleet and freezing rain on Sunday evening.
Avoid Driving:
Widespread accumulating snowfall will create dangerous driving conditions – so please avoid driving during and after the storm.
How You Can Help Plowing Operations:
If possible, residents are asked to move their vehicles off of streets and into your driveways to help with snow plowing operations.
Trash Collection Schedule Change:
There will be no curbside trash or recycling collections on Monday, January 26. Next week’s curbside trash collections will take place one day later than usual (Monday’s collections will take place on Tuesday, Tuesday’s collections will take place on Wednesday, etc.).
Trash Depot Closed on Sunday:
The Trash & Recycling Drop-Off Depot at 401 JFK Boulevard will be closed on Sunday, January 25; however, the Depot will be open on Monday, January 26, from 7:15 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
Monday's Fitness Classes Canceled:
Monday morning’s fitness classes inside the Community Lodge (the Total Body Fitness and Sit-Fit-Senior Classes) are cancelled and will resume on Wednesday morning.
