Wesley by the Bay, part of the United Methodist Communities in Ocean City, is holding a Have a Heart Initiative in honor of the upcoming Veterans Day.
It is asking for the support of local businesses/vendors by donating new items of winter clothing. The donations are for the homeless veterans in Cape May County.
This campaign, Warm Hearts For Veterans, is the sister campaign of Have a Heart For Veterans, which occurs on Valentine’s Day.
New items can be:
“There is currently a large need to help Veterans that are homeless, and numerous donations are needed. As the winter months approach, providing these much-needed items would be so helpful,” Wesley by the Bay said in a statement.

Please drop off or send donations to Wesley by the Bay at 2409 Bay Avenue, Ocean City, N.J. 08226. Donations should be sent or brought to the office by October 15.
Donations may also be made online at Amazon.com. Donors are asked to include a note with their name so that Wesley by the Bay knows who to thank for the donation.
