Memorial wreaths frame the monument at Veterans Park during the 2024 Patriot Day ceremony
Mayor Leonard Desiderio is inviting members of the community to Sea Isle City’s annual Patriot Day ceremony in honor of the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
The solemn ceremony will be held 9 a.m. Thursday at Veterans Park, at the corner of John F. Kennedy Boulevard and Landis Avenue. In the event of rain, the ceremony will be moved inside to the Community Lodge, 300 JFK Boulevard.
It will include guest speakers, Sea Isle first responders and other local dignitaries. Patriotic hymns will be sung, and wreaths will be placed around the park’s Memorial Fountain.
