Mayor Leonard Desiderio is inviting everyone to kick off the 2025 holiday season in style during Sea Isle City’s Holiday Procession and Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, Nov. 28.
The celebration will begin at 6 p.m. with a festive procession along JFK Boulevard featuring costumed holiday characters, live music, families, representatives from local civic organizations and Santa Claus.
The procession will start in front of the Sea Isle City Welcome Center (300 JFK Boulevard) and run east along JFK Boulevard to Excursion Park (JFK and Pleasure Avenue). It will conclude at the Excursion Park Band Shell.
Once Santa and Mayor Desiderio arrive at the Band Shell, they will immediately begin this year’s tree lighting ceremony. The festivities will include Christmas carols, inflatable family photo-op stations and the lighting of Sea Isle City’s towering Christmas tree.
After the tree is illuminated, children will be invited onto the Band Shell’s stage to pose for pictures with Santa and receive treats.
While the tree lighting ceremony is taking place, the Sea Isle City Chamber of Commerce’s two-day “Winter Village” will get underway at Excursion Park, The festival will include food and merchandise vendors on Friday and Saturday, plus additional family-friendly activities on Saturday.
