If you’re a Saturday Night Live fan or just a fan of good stand-up comedy, chances are high that you already know and love the name Tracy Morgan. As one of the most respected comedians in the field, Morgan packs venues wherever he performs, so if you want to see him live this year, you better get your hands on some tickets asap! The comedy veteran has much to offer to existing fans and brand-new ones.
Though Morgan’s show in New Jersey (also his current hometown) has already come and gone, there are several shows across the country that you can still get tickets for in 2025:
04/11/25 in Bangor, ME, at the Cross Insurance Center
04/12/25 in Concord, NH, at the Capitol Center for the Performing Arts
07/05/25 in Las Vegas, NV, at the Westgate Las Vegas Casino and Resort
There are a lot of excellent comics touring the US this year, so why should you choose a Tracy Morgan show over all others? Well, how many of those comedians can say that they starred on seven seasons of the Golden Globe and Emmy-winning show 30 Rock? Very few, but Morgan is one of them. Not only was Morgan able to hold his own opposite Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin, but he also received an Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actor in his role on 30 Rock. That’s not to mention multiple nominations for the Supporting Actor NAACP Image Award. As an ensemble, the cast also took home the Best Ensemble in a Comedy Series award from the Screen Actors Guild. As the most googled SNL star in New Jersey, it's clear that Morgan is a funny, funny guy!
Tracy Morgan’s current tour, the No Disrespect Tour, is hardly his first foray into getting a good laugh out of an audience, as his impressive comedy background illustrates clearly. He has appeared in four seasons of TBS’ The Last OG (he also executive produces the show), starred opposite comedy heavyweights Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall, and Jermaine Fowler in Coming to America 2, has had standup shoes released globally on platforms like Netflix and has done some hilarious voice acting as well.
Though he is best known as a Saturday Night Live alum, that isn't where Morgan started. His first introduction to television audiences was in his role as “Hustle Man” on the hit comedy show Martin, he was also a regular cast member on Uptown Comedy Club, which aired for two seasons between 1992 and 1994 and was also on the HBO show Snaps, after which he joined Saturday Night Live in 1996. Morgan enjoyed seven seasons of immense popularity and absurdity on the show, bringing wildly entertaining, quirky characters to life, including favorites like Brian Fellows and Astronaut Jones. On his show, The Tracy Morgan Show, as well as on Comedy Central’s Crank Yankers, he continued his success (and portrayed zany characters like Spoonie Luv).
Morgan has acting credits in over 60 television shows and movies.
Though he’s jovial on stage, Morgan is a longtime diabetes sufferer. He received a kidney transplant in 2010, which prevented him from having to rely on dialysis treatments for the rest of his days.
Morgan's initial foray into comedy was performing on the streets to bring in money after dropping out of school to care for his ill father.
Tracy Morgan is quoted as saying, "You get somebody to crack a smile, that's a beautiful thing․.. so I think all comedians are earning their wings into heaven․" We agree.
When Morgan dropped out of high school, he was only four credits shy of graduation.

The No Disrespect Tour will take this comedy legend to several locations across the USA this year, and there's no doubt that each show will be a sold-out performance. Buy your tickets (and book somewhere to stay, as hotels will fill up fast) early to avoid disappointment, and don't forget to use official, reliable platforms like Ticketmaster, as there are many unscrupulous organizations out there that will try to swindle comedy fans out of their hard-earned cash with no tickets to offer. Treat yourself to a good laugh this year; you deserve it!
