The book, INNER EXCELLENCE: Train Your Mind for Extraordinary Performance and the Best Possible Life, is now flying off the virtual shelves and is Amazon's #1 best-seller as of Monday morning.
Because of course.
Brown caught just one ball in Sunday's game, prompting some to question whether he was frustrated and using the book to convey some kind of message. But the receiver said after the game that there was no message, that he does this often, and that this was simply the first time cameras noticed.
"Man, it gives me a sense of peace," said Brown. "That's a book that I bring every single game. My teammates call it 'the recipe.'"

The book's author, Jim Murphy, told Sports Illustrated that he was watching a rerun of Thursday's Penn State/Notre Dame game in a hotel room when his phone started lighting up with the news: "I was like, 'What’s with all these messages?' And then I saw what happened and I’m like, 'Oh my God that’s crazy.' Really neat."
"Really neat" and about to make Murphy a really nice chunk of cash, it seems.
