Howie Roseman took a beer can to the dome during Philadelphia's Super Bowl LIX victory parade. Roseman shook it off, arrived at the Art Museum, and used the incident to remind us that--both literally and metaphorically--he bleeds for the city.

Merchandisers were quick to spot a killer line.

And Roseman, ever the businessman, now seems to have formed an LLC to capitalize on the iconic phrase. Josh Gerben, trademark attorney and founder of Gerben IP, spotted a filing submitted to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office this week by "Bleeding Bird LLC" for the "I BLEED FOR THIS CITY" trademark:
A newly formed LLC called BLEEDING BIRD LLC lists Howie Roseman's manager as its contact.
On Saturday, the LLC then filed a trademark for:
"I BLEED FOR THIS CITY"
The filing claims that Howie and his team plan to develop a clothing line around the phrase.#EaglesParade pic.twitter.com/YE1BWOhhYj
The full application, publically available here, indicates that the phrase would be applied to "athletic apparel, namely, shirts, pants, jackets, footwear, hats and caps, [and] athletic uniforms."
Those who haven't already blown through their Super Bowl merch budget might want to set aside some cash.
UPDATE: Following the publication of this article, the Eagles reached out to Gerben, indicating that any proceeds related to this trademark would go to the Eagles Charitable Foundation.
