Free agent quarterback Jameis Winston was found among the throng of media surrounding Saquon Barkley on Monday for Super Bowl LIX's "Opening Night." And Winston had a personal question.
"One more question Saquon," said Winston. "I’m a free agent, I really don’t got no job. Who should sign me in free agency?"
"I think New York needs a quarterback right now," responded Barkley without missing a beat.

Quarterback Daniel Jones signed a 4-year, $160 million extension with the Giants prior to the 2023 season, which many believe affected their ability to make a competitive offer to Barkley in free agency. But the team benched Jones during the 2024 season and eventually released him.
