Sea Isle City officials and volunteers celebrate Arbor Day in 2022 with a group photo next to a newly planted crepe myrtle tree.
Members of Sea Isle City’s Beautification Committee, Environmental Commission, Garden Club, Green Team and Historical Society invite the public to an Arbor Day celebration.
The ceremony is scheduled for 12 noon on Friday, April 25, in front of the Sea Isle City branch of the Cape May County Library, 4800 Central Ave.
Three new crepe myrtle trees will be dedicated to the people of Sea Isle. The free event will feature guest speakers, a poetry reading, and the presentation of a “Green Thumb Award” to a municipal employee who has helped beautify the community.
Afterwards, complimentary refreshments will be served inside the Sea Isle City Historical Museum, located on the library’s first floor.
The rain location for the event will be inside the library’s main meeting room. For more information, call Mike McHale at (609) 236-3331.
