Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark tried her hand at Major League Baseball commentary in a video that went viral this week.

Not bad at all. "And that'll bring someone to the plate" is a catch phrase waiting to happen.
But the video produced more questions than answers. Why was Clark watching Phillies/Brewers? Is she a Phillies fan? A Brewers fan? A Rhys Hoskins enthusiast?
Indiana Fever beat reporter Matthew Byrne and his colleagues investigated.
Caitlin Clark, on the TikTok of her play-by-play for the MLB game: “I’ve kind of been following the Phillies, so I kinda know some of their players… I messed up a few times, but that’s a hard gig! I was out of breath and exhausted… shoutout to all the commentators out there.” pic.twitter.com/quDNTfHZCy

We'll take it! Welcome to Philadelphia Phillies Nation, Caitlin Clark!
But our story doesn't end there. Tom McCarthy saw Clark's audition tape and was blown away. T-Mac extended an open invitation for Clark (and boyfriend Conor McCaffery) to join him in the Phils' broadcast booth.

Move over, Ben Davis.
