Sea Isle City will commemorate the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks during its annual Patriot Day ceremony Wednesday at Veterans Park.
Mayor Leonard Desiderio will host the 9 a.m. observance, which will include patriotic hymns and words of remembrance for the nearly 3,000 people who died in New York City, at the Pentagon and in Pennsylvania.
Members of the community are invited to attend the ceremony at Veterans Park at the corner of John F. Kennedy Boulevard and Landis Avenue.
The rain location for the event will be inside the Sea Isle City Fire Department at 233 JFK Boulevard, adjacent to City Hall.
