After six straight victories, maybe the Phillies were due for a clunker. Aaron Nola didn't make it though the fifth inning in a 9-5 loss to the Marlins.
Things looked good early. Kyle Schwarber doubled to lead off the game, and a Nick Castellanos single brought him home.

But Aaron Nola served up a two-run home run in the bottom of the inning.

Strange moment in the third, as a Garrett Stubbs bunt turned into a Little League triple. He took a baseball to the dome but still hit the shimmy.
in fairness stubbs could be entirely brain dead and I think he’d still hit the shimmy. it’s base instinct for him like breathing. https://t.co/gMRahDUEck
Stubbs also got hit in the head with a bat.

And here's Stubbs getting tackled by Bryce Harper as he fields a pop-up.

I don't care what happens for the rest of this Phils game but if they win STUBBS is the player of the game!!! Please dump the ice water on him & bring him about a dozen ice packs!! Poor dude goin' thru it today w/two head shots & Harper running into him!😳 pic.twitter.com/b3KZOELuhR
Taijuan Walker was pitching for the Phils by the seventh. It went the way you would expect.

I wrote two weeks ago that deposed starter Taijuan Walker could not pitch again for the #Phillies.
He has now given up five runs and two homers in two relief appearances lasting four innings.
Also, he failed to cover home plate allowing a run to score.
I mean, seriously.
In no world should Taijuan Walker be on the postseason roster. It’s a shame to see him fall this far but that’s the reality of the situation #Phillies

These games happen from time to time. Better days ahead.
Pretty sure a rainbow from the Linc to Citizens Bank Park can only mean one thing— 2 championships this year! #RingTheBell #FlyEaglesFly Thanks for the pic @JenniMae17 ⚾️🦅🌈 pic.twitter.com/bz7QoVLFdU
